Market Structure

How to read EURUSD market structure

Market structure is the bigger map behind the candles. It helps traders understand whether EURUSD is expanding, repairing, rotating, or approaching a part of the move where continuation is getting less trustworthy.

Why structure matters more than random candles

A five-minute move can look exciting and still be poorly timed inside the bigger EURUSD map. Structure helps answer where price is sitting, not just what the latest candle did.

That is important because many bad trades happen when a trader sees momentum on a small chart but ignores the larger leg that is still controlling the day.

How to think about structure simply

A useful way to think about structure is through legs and checkpoints. Where did the bigger move start? Where did it stretch? Where did price repair? What level would weaken the current story if reclaimed or lost?

You do not need complicated language first. You need a clean way to tell whether the move is early, mature, or already fighting itself.

How Trading Analytica reads EURUSD structure

The platform starts with the bigger structure before it looks at session-level signals. That is deliberate. A setup can look attractive intraday and still be badly positioned if it is fighting the higher-timeframe leg.

This is also why the system sometimes blocks trades that look exciting. The move may exist, but the location may still be poor.

What traders should take from this

Market structure does not mean predicting every swing. It means knowing what kind of environment you are trading inside. Is price breaking out, repairing, or just rotating between known levels?

Once that question is answered, everything else becomes easier: entry timing, session bias, and whether the move still has room.
